Max's true passion is soccer and he had finally reached his dream of being MVP. It was the day of the big game and Max came down with the flu. He turned to his trusted trainer for a prescription, and played the game in fine form...until the final quarter of the game. Max passed out on the field and upon testing, his system was discovered to be bursting with steroids.
Max was dropped from the team, and currently works as a local college mascot.

Kill the MIL
Nicole could never figure out why Max's mom, Helene Carr, hated her. Before she could win her future MILs love, Max's mother died of cancer in her early fifties. This spiraled into a series of simish changes. Max's Dad, Daniel, could not handle being alone and remarried single mom Mary-Sue Pleasant only month's after Helene's death. Daniel and 16 year old Edie moved into Mary-Sue's house with her twin daughter's Angela and Lilth. Lilth was not pleased and shaved her head and dropped out of high school to show her resentment.
Max on the other hand, mourned his mom, made out with his neighbor Lyndsay, but ultimately married his college sweetheart Nicole Thompson. Will Helene's ghost haunt the new couple? Only time will tell...

Simsane
So Poppy dropped out of college and eloped with her recently acquired boyfriend, Blake Kosmokos. They moved to the country and Poppy busied herself trying to make a name for herself in the paranormal and psychic community and succeeded in publishing a kosmic romance. Blake set to work fishing, gardening and restoring old cars.
Unfortunately for our man Kosmokos, married life didn't suit Poppy. After a couple short years of marriage Poppy found out she was pregnant, and left abruptly, not wanting to tie herself permanently to Blake. She moved back into her 2 Dad's place Downtown. Her birth father (Avri) and his partner (Damon) had split up, but she stayed with Damon until she delivered her baby. Not long after the birth, perv Damon forced himself on Poppy, and then disapeared with Poppy's new baby (Blaevri) in tow.
Poppy was distraught and searched for Blaevri and Damon until she found out she was pregnant with Damon's baby. At this point, she moved back to the country, died her hair pink and got involved in witchcraft. In the heart of this nonsense, she located Blaevri, delivered Damon's baby (Ike), and finally turned out to be such an awful mom that both of her children were taken from her by June, the local social worker.
